Whether you’re applying as a Caregiver, Care Coordinator, or part of our Administrative Team, our process follows these key steps:
Submit Your Application
You’ll receive a confirmation email once we’ve received your application. If your qualifications align with what we’re looking for, our HR team will reach out within a few business days.
In-Person or Virtual Interview
After the initial screening, we’ll schedule a more detailed interview with your prospective supervisor.
This is an opportunity for you to ask questions, learn about our company culture, and explore the next steps together.Caregiver interviews may include situational or skills-based questions related to home care scenarios.
Orientation & Onboarding
Once cleared, you’ll receive an official offer and welcome packet! During onboarding, you’ll learn about:
CogniHealth’s care standards and communication protocols
Safety and confidentiality practices
Client engagement and professionalism
Phone Interview
Qualified applicants are invited to a short phone interview with our HR Coordinator.
This call helps us learn more about your background, availability, and what inspires you to join CogniHealth Home Care.
Credential Verification & Background Check
All new hires must meet California Home Care Organization (HCO) requirements, including:
Valid ID and authorization to work in the U.S.
Background clearance through the California DOJ & FBI Live Scan process
Verification of certifications (HCA registration, CNA, CPR, etc.).
